If you are looking for a dog friendly Cotswold holiday – we may have just what you need!

We know your dog (or dogs) are valued members of your family and we certainly don’t want them to feel left out! There’s so much to explore and experience, so bring them along and let them enjoy a dog friendly Cotswold holiday too.

Enjoy a dog friendly Cotswold holiday at Campden Yurts:

We appreciate you may have some questions so here, in a nutshell is why we think your dog/s will love staying with us too.

🐶 We only take dogs in Buttercup Yurt so they will be the only dog/s on site.

🐕 We have built a fenced area around Buttercup Yurt. The fence is (kennel club approved) wire and stands about 4ft – 5ft high. Your dog/s can be off the lead in this area.

🐶 The yurt’s picnic bench, firepit, seating and hammock are all within the paddock. This means you really can all relax together whether gathered around the campfire or having an alfresco breakfast.

🐕 We provide a large storage box outside the yurt door for food, leads, towels and toys, so it frees up room within the yurt.

🐶 We charge £27 for up to 2 dogs for the duration of your stay.

When free of sheep/lambs, our bottom field can be used for exercising your dog

Reviews from previous guests:

“We have just returned from a lovely stay at Campden Yurts. The site is beautifully maintained, clean tidy and very very well equipped. The yurt had a comfy bed for us and comfy futon for our son, the fencing around it mean our dogs could relax too with us knowing they weren’t going to escape.”

“Stayed here for 2 nights recently, such a lovely glamp-site! There was 3 of us and 2 dogs, we stayed in Buttercup Yurt, it has everything you need! Our own private shower, fridge, the kitchen and cook-hut are lovely, the Yurt was so cosy! We had the Pizza Party Experience and was lots of fun, plus the pizza’s tasted amazing! Jane was a lovely host, and definitely recommend to come here!”

“We stayed in Buttercup Yurt with our children and doggy over the Easter break and had a fantastic time. Our friends stayed in the Daisy yurt and the children all enjoyed pizza making, running around together and relaxing in the hammock.”

We had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Buttercup yurt with a dog, a toddler and a baby. Jane had thought of everything and the site is a short walk to Chipping Campden. Highly recommend Campden Yurts and would go back.”

Local places to visit

The Cotswolds is certainly popular with dog-lovers. From the fantastic walks, dog-friendly pubs and tearooms to the various pet shops sporting country wear for your dog – we have it all!

Invariably when out walking you will need to check fields for sheep before allowing your dog off the lead, and respect any signs that are asking you to keep your dog on a lead. The Cotswolds are full of sheep and livestock so it isn’t always possible to say which fields are ok to go free in – it can change week to week.

Dogs are welcome at Batsford Arboretum and the Cotswold Wildlife Park although they do need to be kept on a lead.
